The Lone Pine Lance Rally was in June 2015 at Boulder Creek, 
a few miles south of Lone Pine, Ca.

A day trip to the Mt Whitney Portal, some 6145' elevation

Steep drive through the Alabama Hills, to the Mt Whitney Portal trailhead.

 Nice cool spot and a little lake.
